What is performance management?
Your HR Glossary questions, answered
Performance management is the process of ensuring that employee efforts and output align with an organisation’s business goals, as well as the employee’s own professional aims and aspirations. This is managed by setting clear expectations and targets, providing regular feedback, completing performance reviews and assessments, and checking in to see what, if any, training, additional support or equipment an employee may require to carry out their job effectively.
