A performance review is a formal meeting between an employee and their line manager to assess job performance. It includes making space to discuss an employee’s achievements, identify areas where improvement is needed, and align individual goals and targets with business objectives. Typically, a performance review will be conducted every quarter, or every six months, depending on an organisation’s preferences.
