A KIT (Keeping In Touch) day is allows an employee on maternity leave to work up to 10 days without ending their leave or affecting maternity pay. The purpose of a KIT day is to allow an employee on maternity leave to stay connected with their job, keep up to date with organisational developments, attend training, and/or gradually get ready for the transition back into work.
