A clocking in system is a physical terminal that employees use to clock in and clock out of work.
There are different types of terminals, each of which use different types of technology to record an employee’s start and finish times. This might be through swiping a card, facial recognition, geo-fencing, or scanning a key fob. Employees might also clock in through an app on a tablet or via their phone.
